Time Out says

Experience Brooklyn Botanic Garden like never before at this interactive audio-visual sensation called Biophony SoundGarden, running February 11 and 12.

Throughout the conservatory, you'll find immersive sound and light installations that run in sync with music/soundscapes created by the plants themselves. The music and soundscapes in each section of the conservatory (tropical, desert, temperate, bonsai, and aquatic houses) have been designed to stimulate different brainwaves. Accompanying the plant-generated sounds, 17 composers/performers from Metropolis Ensemble will perform live music in the various areas of the conservatory.

A hands-on station will also let kids (and adults!) touch and manipulate certain plants to generate their own sounds. The soundbath event is co-presented with Metropolis Ensemble and has been curated by composer Ricardo Romaneiro.
