There’s a deliciously arty feel to this left-leaning, eco-friendly BK venue, which runs on wind power and serves old-fashioned cocktails from a bar built from salvaged bowling alley lanes. Littlefield’s booking policy is similarly eclectic: A typical week features hip-hop, folk and soul gigs, plus quirky club and comedy nights.

Littlefield is a cool little venue in Gowanus and it 's actually moved recently from their old location on Degraw to Sackett St! I've only been twice and each event was different in terms of set up so it shows the flexibility of the place as they host a variety of events. The first time I went here was a Mac and Cheese Takedown where you get to try mac and cheeses from different restaurants and choose which is the best one. The most recent was a Drunk Education talk of the Carly Rae Jepsen album Emotion and then a dance party featuring said album.

It is a small intimate venue so you can actually get quite close to the stage and can even go on it depending on the event. All the shows are affordable too so I mean depending what your interests are, there might be something you like. Also I like that there's a drink called Tropic Like It's Hot. Points for the name alone.

Happy exploring and remember: Don't deny, satisfy!

I've been to littlefield about five times now, several times for stand up routines (Ilana Glazer + friends) as well as the monthly Tuesday "Movie Drinking Game." I do REALLY like this venue, and it seems to be pretty centrally located (plus you can pop over to Three's brewing for happy hour before whatever show you're seeing). The inside of littlefield is a stage with set up chairs and a bar in the front, with some tables and chairs off to the side. I would say my ONLY gripe about littlefield is, I have NEVER been able to get a seat for any show I have been to here. I have arrived 30 minutes before doors open, and still not a chance. I understand there isn't a lot of room, but it's a little frustrating to feel like no matter what time I plan to be at an event, I still can't catch a break. That being said, you can basically see from anywhere inside the venue, and they let you stand up on the sides by the stage which is nice. All the shows I've seen here are great, and super affordable. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Save me a seat next time, littlefield?
