Since 1934, aspiring performers have come to The Apollo prepared to "be good or be gone," as the saying goes. Auditions for the iconic Amateur Night at the Apollo are back on Saturday, March 25 from 9am-6pm. On a first-come, first-served basis, Amateur Night producers will audition the first 200 vocalists, rappers, dancers, instrumentalists, comedians, spoken-word artists, and other performers vying for a coveted spot on The Apollo’s stage, where they will compete for a chance to win the $20,000 grand prize.
Be prepared to get there early and brave the line. Also, a word to the wise: The Apollo says no profanity can be used in the performances. Register online for more info.
