Time Out says

Hear Beethoven's Ninth Symphony like you never heard it before as the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra performs at Carnegie Hall with renowned conductor Benjamin Zander on Sunday, February 26. The show promises a "revelatory, orthodoxy-defying version of Beethoven’s Ninth, one of the most influential pieces of music ever written."

Zander's a true expert in Beethoven's works, having spend half a century researching the composer. The concert marks the fulfillment of the maestro's 45-year quest to answer the questions: "What did Beethoven intend? What did he hear in his mind?"

Also expect four renowned soloists to perform. And don't miss the pre-concert talk where Zander will discuss his interpretation of Beethoven’s Ninth. Tickets start at $15.
