Détective + Tiger High + Pop Zeus

L.A.'s Détective specializes in spare, dreamy, ’90s-style indie rock—not too surprising, considering that James Greer (who shares lead-vocal duties with Guylaine Vivarat) played in Guided by Voices during the Alien Lanes/Under the Bushes Under the Stars era. Also on the bill is Brooklyn's Mikey Hodges, who works under the Pop Zeus moniker and churns out raw, heartfelt DIY power pop, with hooks and passion to spare.
