Before he wrote The Exorcist, William Peter Blatty specialized in zany comedy—including this tale of a CIA operative who is forced to coach an Arab football team. He wrote the book for a musical version that played at the Fringe in 2007; now that show makes a brief return with a cast that, bizarrely, includes actual former CIA director James Woolsey, as fictional CIA director Heinous Overreach.
