Lyrics and Legacy: Celebrating Marilyn and Alan Bergman

The married team of Marilyn and Alan Bergman wrote the lyrics for some of the defining songs of the late 20th century, winning three Oscars in the process (out of 16 nominations). In this gala for LaGuardia High School, they are honored by a starry group that including Tony Bennett, Stephen Schwartz, Paul Williams, David Hyde Pierce, Tyne Daly, Ann Hampton Callaway, Jarrod Spector, John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey.
