In its original three-and-a-half-decade existence, NRBQ made effortlessly transcendent rock & roll that was equal parts expertise and mischief. The band's current edition—formerly designated as New—is led by keyboardist and cofounder Terry Adams and possesses enough talent, personality and versatility that it hardly needs to trade on its predecessor’s formidable reputation.
