The Emancipation of Re:Sonance—Zawinul

The final concert of this series from the Manhattan New Music Project and the Austrian Cultural Forum pays tribute to the Austrian jazz master Joe Zawinul. New York–based trumpeter Franz Hackl and his IDO Ensemble will use Zawinul's compositions as the basis for an evening of improvisation and deep-sonic exploration.
