Tune-In Festival: PowerFUL

The first of three provocative programs curated by the chamber-music sensations of eighth blackbird, tonight's program focuses on politically charged works. Included on the ballot are Frederic Rzewski's Coming Together, John Cage's Credo in US, David T. Little's sweet light crude, Stefan Weisman's I Would Prefer Not To, Matt Marks's A Portrait of Glenn Beck and Louis Andriessen's Workers Union. Joining the blackbirds tonight are Little's ensemble Newspeak, percussion group red fish blue fish and other guests.
