Dinner’s in the stars at this hotel restaurant in Greenwich Village.

Society Café at the Walker Hotel will launch an astrologically themed dinner series on March 23. A four-course prix fixe will update monthly to reflect that moment’s sign, beginning with the ram. The inaugural, out-of-this-world menu was co-authored by the restaurant’s executive chef, Nicholas McCann and astrologer Lauren Ash.

“Timed with the spring equinox and beginning of the first sign of the zodiac, Aries, this month’s menu puts the fire in fire sign through its food and drink,” a press release reads.

In keeping with the theme, the evening begins with a “fiery falafel” amuse bouche, followed by a radish starter, berbere-spiced lamb or vegetables and an ice cream dessert spiked with spiced Luxardo Liqueur. There is also a choice of a paloma en fuego or non-alcoholic cocktail with pear, cinnamon, lemon and mint soda.

Pre-paid tickets are $80, and include an astrologically-branded swag bag with a few beauty products and a “selection of healing stones and crystals that represent the energy of Aries” per the release. Seatings begin at 5pm.

Society Café first opened in 2016. Its regular menu is self-billed as “market-to-table American.” Taurus follows Aries in the zodiac.
