A giant new mural has popped up in Hell’s Kitchen

Dutch artist Selwyn Senatori has just given Hell’s Kitchen a new splash of color with an 80 foot-wide mural at West 52nd St and Tenth Ave. The large-scale, Euro-vibe acrylic painter has decked out the recently-opened Decimo Ristobar with an old-timey Italian scene of drinks, dancing and jazz music. It's pretty cheeky!

This is just another addition to midtown's growing display of outdoor art this summer: Over at Broadway between 36th and 39th, you can check out Kang Muxiang's "Rebirth"; Anselm Kiefer's "Uraeus" haunts Rockefeller Center; and Playlab Inc.'s delightful jumbo-sized "Grown Up Flowers" are currently soaking across from Radio City Music Hall. Hopefully Senatori's addition will add more vibrance to Hell's Kitchen's streets, which are often, well, kind of drab.

You can follow Senatori's work on his site or Instagram
