If you’ve watched a single episode of the new Netflix reboot of Queer Eye, then it’s probably safe to say that you’ve fallen in love, just a little bit, with resident “food and wine expert” Antoni Porowski.
From his winking graphic tees to the way he thoughtfully handles a just-ripe avocado, Porowski manages to be exceedingly charming in the first eight episodes of the series. And now, to really gild the lily, there’s a chance he may give you a bike. Get out of my dreams and onto my free bicycle, you relentlessly sensitive chef!
In celebration of National Bike Month (this month) and Bike to Work Week (this week, duh), Porowski is partnering with Silk for a mass bike giveaway at The Coffee Shop in Union Square on Wednesday. From 8am to 11am, you can stop by the eatery just to the west of the park and enter to win one of 100 bicycles that will be given away that day.
While you’re there, you'll also be able to try one of Antoni’s signature smoothies, down some complimentary coffee and sample other products from Silk. Not to mention, you know, figuring how to self-actualize as the best possible version of yourself while sipping a plant-based beverage.
