Check out photos of Brooklyn’s first ever marijuana dispensary

With the recent news about the cancelation of the L train shutdown and, now, the opening of Kings County’s first-ever legal dispensary, it’s safe to say 2019 is certainly starting off on a high note.

Citiva (one of 10 medical cannabis companies currently allowed to operate in the state of New York) is officially open to its patient pool at 202 Flatbush Avenue, directly across the street from Barclays Center.

The facility looks like it could be a tranquil spa, and judging by the alleged health benefits marijuana can provide, receiving a fair dose could be just as relaxing (if not more) as getting a massage at one of the best spas in New York. (Take a look at the space for yourself below.)

Since weed is not legal here (yet!), you can’t just walk in to the dispensary to get yourself some ganja. So make sure to visit Citiva’s website to see if you're applicable to register for New York’s medical marijuana program.
