Do some star gazing at this cosmic art installation in NYC

Seeing stars? You’re not feeling woozy (at least we hope not). What you’re looking at is a new art installation located at clothing store and art gallery hybrid Galeria Melissa (500 Broadway).

If you haven't been, the Soho retail space is designed to change periodically as multiple artists collaborate with the brand and host cool exhibitions. For the next two months, you can check out Natalia Stuyk's cosmic creation titled "Paraiso." In addition to Stuyk's analog work, the Infinity Mirrors-like installation includes a video component projected on floor-to-ceiling LCD paneled walls. Essentially, the artist took the 3D element of the stars and turned them into trance-like animations. Pretty far out, if you ask us.

Check it out and prepare to be starstruck. The store is open daily 10am–7pm and until 8pm on Saturdays.
