It’s time to break out the fancy collars and book that patio reservation: Doggie Restaurant Week is back in New York next month, and it’s going to the dogs—in the best possible way.

Officially known as CESAR Restaurant Weekend, the two-day pup-friendly foodie fest returns Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13, inviting pet parents and their canine companions to dine together at City Vineyard by City Winery. Back by popular demand and expanding nationally, the event now stretches across two weekends and four cities (New York, Los Angeles, Nashville and Chicago), proving once and for all that your dog does deserve a seat at the table.
Hosted by CESAR Canine Cuisine in partnership with City Winery, the event promises a tail-wagging lineup of perks: think human-friendly entrées, such as steak, paired with a filet mignon-flavored CESAR mini pouch for your pup. Expect leash hooks at the tables, “doggy bags” of swag (while supplies last) and yes—VIP belly rub service.
“Sharing mealtime is one of the many ways we connect with our pets,” said Jean-Paul Jansen, the chief marketing officer at Mars Pet Nutrition North America. “This weekend isn’t just about a great meal—it’s about celebrating the bond between people and their pets.”
The timing aligns with traditional Restaurant Week energy, except this time, the reservation list includes four-legged guests. If you missed last year’s inaugural event, consider this your chance to make it up to your furry food critic.
The event is also part of a broader movement to make cities more dog friendly. In collaboration with Tripadvisor, CESAR is also offering digital city guides and a pet-friendly AI trip builder so you can plan your dog’s next dinner date or weekend getaway like a pro.
Want in? Mark your calendars for Saturday and Sunday, July 12–13, at City Vineyard in Hudson River Park. Spots are limited, so fetch your reservation early.
