The Seattle-based retailer is finally set to open its long-awaited NYC flagship store at 57th Street and Broadway this Thursday, and we got a sneak peek of the massive new space.
Spread out across seven floors, the new flagship will be offering a number of enticing special features and services to visitors. Among them, a third-floor “stylist lounge” will allow guests to have one-on-one consultations with fashion experts, a denim alterations bar will offer express 30-60 minute alterations and a fifth-floor pop-up space will house a rotating assortment of shops built around different themes. (This month: Everlane.)
However, you may want to swing by the swanky new retail space after it opens on Thursday—even if you’re not a fashionista—just for the abundance of new food and beverage options. An impressive seven new f&b concepts will be opening along with the store this week including four full-service restaurants, two bars and an inventive donut stand.
Wolf will be offering Italian fare with a Pacific Northwest twist on the second level while the more casual Jeannie’s serves up pizza and Hani Pacific dishes out Pacific Rim-inspired cuisine, both on the second lower level. The store’s flagship restaurant will be Bistro Verde, offering more traditional bistro fare, and the elegant Broadway Bar and casual Shoe Bar will be slinging cocktails. Oh Mochi will serve gluten-free mochi donuts baked in-house.
And, get this, sales associates in the store will be able to order up food from the restaurants that can be delivered to you anywhere in the 320,000-square-foot store while you shop. That’s right, you can order a pizza while you’re trying on shoes. (Don’t worry, it will arrive on china not in a box.)
