Get free food at Grand Central in June

Sure, you need to head to Grand Central Terminal this month to play tour guide to your Minnesota friend and to catch the Metro-North for your cousin's upstate wedding—but we have an even better reason to stop by in June. The annual Taste of the Terminal is making its grand return from June 26 to 28. From 11am to 2pm in Vanderbilt Hall, get free treats from Café Grumpy, Doughnut Plant, Shake Shack, Michael Jordan’s Steak House, Li-Lac Chocolates, Ceriello Fine Foods and Zaro’s Family Bakery.

And in addition to the complimentary eats, enjoy a photo-based art installation to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision to save the terminal by upholding its landmark status, including shots of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, a member of the "Committee to Save Grand Central." You can also listen to live performances by Music Under New York. Not hungry or in the mood for culture or music? The terminal's retail vendors, like Origins, The Art of Shaving, Tia's Place and Vineyard Vines, will also have samples and giveaways on hand.
