Don't expect Bryant Park to virtually shut down once the holidays are over—at least not this year. Post New Year's, the park is shifting into full-on winter Olympics mode as Bank of America Winter Village becomes a hub for Winter Olympics–inspired fun.

For anyone planning to follow the Winter Games, Bryant Park is positioning itself as a communal viewing headquarters. Throughout February, The Lodge will transform into a prime spot for cheering on Team USA, complete with TVs broadcasting live competitions, themed food and drink specials, a giant medal board and plenty of photo ops (including a podium setup so you can pretend you’ve just medaled yourself).
Bumper cars on ice return from January 9 through February 28, letting visitors bump, spin and slide across the rink in 10-minute sessions that feel more like a carnival ride than a traditional skate (plus you're already seated, so no embarrassing tumbles).
Curling fans and curious first-timers can try iceless curling for free from February 6–26, with first-come, first-served lanes set up just east of the rink. And, on January 12, two-time U.S. national champion and Olympic bronze medalist Gracie Gold will stop by for a special skate and a Team USA pep rally before heading off to Milan as an Olympics Channel commentator.
Even if sports aren’t your thing, Winter Village has plenty of ways to stay warm and entertained. The Lodge hosts vinyl nights on select Tuesdays in January and February, where DJs spin disco, hip-hop and funk as the dance party spills out onto the rink deck and ice. Wednesdays bring Winter Dance, offering expert-led lessons from top NYC instructors, whether you show up solo or with a partner. There’s also Mixtape Bingo, which turns musical knowledge into friendly competition, and We Met IRL mixers that add a little romance to the winter calendar.
Families get their own slate of programming, too. Winter StoryTime runs on Saturday mornings from mid-January through February, with select dates followed by StoryTime on Ice performances from the Bryant Parkettes. During Kids Week, February 17–20, the rink hosts free skate lessons, junior performances and off-ice activities designed especially for younger visitors.
Beyond the Olympics, seasonal favorites continue into late winter. Cozy Igloos get a pink-hued makeover as Rosy Igloos through February 28; Valentine’s Day brings a rose-lit skate night; Lunar New Year festivities arrive on February 21; and Bad Bunny's halftime show at the Super Bowl gets a rinkside viewing party.
Winter Village is open through March 1.
