The streaming giant has officially opened casting for a future season of Love Is Blind and it's seeking single New Yorkers who are genuinely ready for a long-term relationship. That means if you've ever watched the hit reality series and thought, "I could absolutely fall in love with someone without seeing them," you now have the chance to prove it.
Produced by Kinetic Content, Love Is Blind has become one of Netflix's biggest reality-TV sensations thanks to its unusual premise: 30 singles meet in individual "pods," where they can hear each other but never see one another. Over roughly 10 days, contestants date, share their deepest secrets and (if all goes according to plan) get engaged before ever meeting face-to-face.

Only after the proposal do the couples finally see each other in person. From there, they head on a romantic getaway, move in together, meet each other's families and race toward a legally binding wedding just weeks later. Whether they actually make it down the aisle, of course, is another story.
Casting directors say they're searching for single men and women living in the New York City area who are "brave, open-minded and ready for a committed, long-term relationship." Applicants must be at least 21 years old, legal U.S. residents and genuinely single—you can’t be married, living with a partner or in the middle of a divorce or annulment. (You'll also need a valid passport that's good for at least a year after applying.)
As part of the application process, hopeful contestants are asked to submit recent photos, a 15-second introduction video, links to their social media accounts and answers to a lengthy questionnaire covering everything from past relationships and personal red flags to whether they want children and why they think they'd make a great partner.
There’s pay on the line as well. While Netflix doesn't publicly disclose compensation, reports from StyleCaster suggest participants typically receive compensation throughout filming, with additional payments tied to later stages of the experiment, including the reunion special.
