For the fourth year, Bleachers' Jack Antonoff will be hosting his own music festival on the Jersey Shore this summer. Shadow of the City will take place Saturday, August 25 at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, NJ. The Jersey native—who's cowritten and produced songs for Lorde and Taylor Swift—brings a lineup that includes Hayley Kiyoko, Julien Baker, Turnover, Beach Slang, Clams Casino, Forth Wanderers, and Ex Reyes.
Antonoff writes:
"This is my favorite day of the year, the venue that I grew up dreaming about playing and the town that gave me my favorite music. Asbury park and New Jersey as a whole have a sound and feeling that is a part of everything I do. This is all about celebrating that feeling and bringing something to Jersey people I had to travel for growing up. Very proud to announce year four of Shadow Of The City at the Stone Pony Outdoor Stage."
In addition to a full summer of shows at venues like the Stone Pony Summer Stage, Asbury Park is also going to home to Asbury Lanes, a new concert venue–bowling alley opening Memorial Day weekend.
Tickets, a very reasonable $40, go on sale on Friday, May 11th at 10am, as do VIP passes.
