The three things you need to know today in New York: Thu January 25

1. A musical version of The Handmaid’s Tale will be performed in Brooklyn today. The parody starts at Union Hall at 8pm. 

2. The Lumberyard in the City Winter Festival starts today and features dance and theater productions. It runs through February 10 at New York Live Arts.

3. Comedy show Puppets Presents at Littlefield tonight features stand-up comedians. They're accompanied by puppets, of course.
