Your dog already lives rent-free and considers your bed communal property. Now, a new Brooklyn boarding spot is offering them a chauffeured ride to a steak dinner and a photo shoot in $150,000 worth of diamonds. (Being a good boy has excellent benefits.)

K9 Resorts will open its first New York City location in Dumbo on October 12 and it’s marking the occasion with the Founders Suite: a $1,000-a-night experience designed exclusively for dogs. The upgrade requires a three-night minimum, so it starts at $3,000.

For that price, your pup gets a private suite outfitted with gold wallpaper, a chandelier, luxury bowls and a plush bed, among other details personally overseen by co-founders Steven and Jason Parker. The pampering starts with private chauffeured transportation to and from the resort. Once checked in, canine guests receive an in-suite filet mignon dinner and an ice cream turndown amenity.

Bedtime involves a dedicated “Sleep Menu,” letting owners select sounds to help their dogs settle down, including ocean waves, forest wind and color-based ambient noise. Personalized enrichment and wellness options include K9 Fit Play and an LED therapy mat, tailored to each guest’s activity level and preferences. The lucky dogs will also sit for a personalized portrait wearing an 18-karat white-gold, diamond-encrusted collar from London Jewelers, valued at $150,000.

“At K9 Resorts, we take pride in treating every four-legged guest as a VIP,” Steven Parker said in the announcement.

Checkout also comes with gifts: Les Poochs fragrance, Wagyu treats and a premium dental care set. Even the dog’s souvenir bag has expensive taste.

The broader Dumbo facility spans 10,000 square feet, with indoor and outdoor play areas, cage-free overnight accommodations, hospital-grade air filtration and professionally trained staff. It includes six Luxury Suites and 65 Executive Rooms, with capacity for up to 80 overnight guests and 100 daycare dogs daily.

Regular overnight accommodations are advertised at $89–$159 per night, offering an option for dogs whose owners haven’t budgeted for chandelier-level boarding.

The Founders Suite will be available exclusively at the Dumbo location beginning October 12. Your dog may never understand what $3,000 means, but they’ll certainly understand the steak.
