Bite into a bagel to pay tribute to one of the city's most beloved culinary confections at BagelFest. This carby party celebrates all things bagel and has fun with the form.
Sample from more than 30 vendors featuring bagels, lox, spreads and coffee. Headliners hail from across the nation, including the famed Utopia Bagels, paper-thin-sliced-lox from Acme Smoked Fish, rainbow bagels and cragels from Bagel Point, Starship Bagel from Dallas, and Ruby's Bagels from Milwaukee. Plus, Montreal's iconic St-Viateur Bagel will be there, so you can finally solve the NYC vs. Montreal bagel debate.
Be sure to vote for your favorite in the "best of" competition to help determine the winners, which will be presented on Sunday afternoon. In addition to eating, Saturday afternoon attendees will witness world-class bagel rollers going head-to-head in the inaugural Bagel Rolling Championship.
Tickets are going fast, so get 'em while they're (ahem) hot. The event runs from October 21-22 in Chelsea.
