Time Out says

This tiny, tousled Greenwich Village diner proudly serves plates of grease-laden grub. Dig into the appropriately crunchy potato chip omelette, or a stack of chocolate-chip pancakes. Fountain drinks, such as a commendable chocolate egg cream, don’t disappoint.

The best breakfast option in NYC if you're looking for a no-frills diner-esque quick meal. This small joint is run entirely by 4 or 5 guys who wait and cook, and somehow can get you in and out in fifteen minutes (or less!). Don't go in expecting some fancy meal, this place is very simple, but in a great way. It's a nice escape from the plethora of fancy brunches around the city. The place is very vintage and has been around for years. They've also filmed movies here - if you grab a bite here take a look at the pictures and articles on the wall and you'll learn about the history of the restaurant.  Fun for a date, with a friend, or with your family. It's a very small and extremely busy restaurant though, so either go at an off-time or plan to wait a little bit.
