They say nothing lasts forever, and that's especially true for these New York shops. While we love this city's shopping mainstays, like our classic department stores or the tried-and-true vintage stores and thrift shops throughout the five boroughs, it's fun to add these new stores into your shopping routine because they're only open for a limited time. Here's our list of the best pop-up shops currently in New York City.

Don’t Ask Why,  an edgy loungewear line, opened a 2,700-square-foot temp space chock full of festival-inspired attire that fuses the fashions of New York and LA, so go nuts on cropped T-shirts ($25), floral kimonos ($40) and tank dresses ($40).  Follow the shop on Instagram (@dontaskwhy) for upcoming discounts, free manicures and more.  As of now, there's no official close date, so we're crossing our fingers that this tremporary shop transforms into a full-blown brick-and-mortar.
