Where’s Waldo–inspired products

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Where’s Waldo with these products inspired by the evasive icon.

Although Waldo’s signature red-and-white striped top helps him blend into a crowd, this pure lamb’s wool sweater will make you stand out with its distinctive knit detailing and raglan sleeves. The intrepid world traveler is rarely seen without his brown messenger bag slung across his shoulder. While you may not be traversing time like Waldo, this classic glazed-leather carryall will help you schlep your stuff for decades to come. Fossil Dillon simple work bag, $278, at Fossil, 38 W 34th St between Fifth and Sixth Aves (212-594-5850, fossil.com)

Pay homage to the bespectacled character with these round-frame glasses, which seem to have been plucked straight from one of British illustrator Martin Handford’s books. In fact, the style is such a dead ringer, local eyewear brand Warby Parker is renaming it after Waldo for the month of September. Sink your toes into the tribute by sporting these comfy unisex socks, which offer a modern take on Waldo’s iconic stripes. Happy Socks striped combed cotton socks, $12, at Bloomingdale’s, 1000 Third Ave at 59th St (212-705-2000, bloomingdales.com)

Florida native Carrie Sasville launched her line of hand-mixed nail lacquers this April, and releases new color collections based around a theme. Her latest batch takes inspiration from beloved ’80s toys and games (Hot Wheels, Twister), and includes this nostalgic nod to Where’s Waldo. The clear polish contains red, white and blue glitter in various-sized hexagonal and linear chunks, offering a festive yet subtle way to celebrate the 25-year-old character’s birthday. We love how English graphic designer Dianne Delahunty’s Case-Mate shell (case-mate.com) cleverly captures Waldo’s elusive nature, with only the shady persona’s glasses and stripes not blending into the background.
