HERE and Beth Morrison Projects prove that thrilling opera continues to bloom as their festival returns for a seventh season that ranges across venues, genres and boroughs. The Royal Opera's production of Philip Venables’s 4.48 Psychosis, adapted from Sarah Kane's fearsome play, makes its U.S. debut. Among the pieces making their world premieres are Leah Coloff's ThisTree, Ellen Reid and Roxie Perkins's prism, Graham Reynold and Lagartijas Tiradas al Sol's Pancho Villa from a Safe Distance, Old Room and the Windmill Factory's The Infinite Hotel and Joseph Keckler's Train with No Midnight.
