Time Out says

Think you've got the best dog in show this Halloween? Then we've got the competition for you.

Leland Eating and Drinking House is hosting its 4th Annual Dog-O-Ween Costume Contest. On October 27, bring your pup in their Halloween finest for a costume competition. A panel of judges will make the final call, rating costumes based on creativity, humor, and attention to detail. Three lucky dogs will win the grand prize of gift cards to the restaurant. But even if you don't win, the restaurant has plenty of pet-friendly activites, including family "paw-traits" courtesy of Belathee Photography, housemade dog treats and pup cups. But its not all for the dogs, as humans can lap up seasonal drink specials, including spiked hot apple cider (with the option to go non-alcoholic), a fireside Negroni or a hot toddy with a splash of amaro. The restaurant is also raising funds for Angels for Mistreated Animals, an organization dedicated to rehabilitating animals who have endured severe abuse. Donations can be made online.

Leland's 4th Annual Dog-O-Ween Costume Contest is free to attend. Learn more here.
