If there's anything good about it getting dark so early, at least that means we can see the stars sooner. This Saturday, November 12, take advantage of the dark skies with the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York for Autumn Starfest. Head to the East Meadow in Central Park for a free evening of stargazing where you'll be able to see Jupiter, Saturn, star clusters and the craters of the Moon through telescopes (weather permitting).
Also hear from guest speaker Joe Patterson of Columbia University.
No tickets required; just come by—and hope for clear skies!
