They say all dogs go to heaven, but a blessing for Fido couldn't hurt. Bring your furry, feathered and even reptilian friends to this annual event in front of the historic Marble Church at West 29th and Fifth Avenue on Sunday, October 8.
Activities begin at 12:15pm after the morning worship service. Expect to see horses from the NYPD Mounted Unit, dogs from NYPD Special Operation, bunnies, lizards and maybe a tortoise or a few birds. Kids are encouraged to bring their stuffed animals. And don't worry if your pet doesn't travel well (ahem, calico cats, ahem); you can bring a photo to be blessed.
