Celebrate Eid al-Fitr with food, music, dance and art at Brooklyn Children's Museum on Sunday, April 23. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting. During the event, discover the story of Eid al-Fitr, sample some delicious foods, get in on some interactive drumming performances, make art and get your hands painted at the Henna station.
Celebrate Eid al-Fitr is presented in partnership with Council Member Shahana Hanif, Turkish Cultural Center, The Culture Tree, Bangladesh Institute of Performing Arts, APNA Brooklyn Community Center, the Arab-American Family Support Center and Emgage.
