Fair warning: although catered to children, adults will also enjoy this this super-cute, Disney-inspired immersive experience at the Camp store in lower Manhattan.
Upon entering the premise, you'll be escorted to a "secret" space behind one of the toy store's walls. Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Goofy, Donald Duck and the rest of the Disney gang will greet you alongside one of the staffers, whose devotion to the experience will remind you of the sort of joy that Trader Joe's' employees are known for (that is to say: very excited to see you).
We won't spoil too much of the plot, but participants will help Mickey and his friends save the character's birthday party after Goofy inadvertendly unleashes chaos upon them by shrinking everyone in his vicinity.
Navigating through the space, you'll get to interact with fun slides, toys and the precious Disney aura that will have you feeling nostalgic and all cozy inside simultaneously.
If visiting with little ones in tow, keep in mind that you'll find yourself in the middle of a beautiful toy store at the end of the experience—so tantrums are expected.
