Girls’ Pint Out to Benefit Hollaback!

Women’s History Month is a great time to start turning negative statistics around, and at this femme-focused rendezvous you can do just that by having a drink. According to Girls’ Pint Out, a nationwide collective for female enthusiasts of artisanal brews, women account for only around 29 percent of craft-beer consumption by volume. Help them close the gender gap in guzzling at this sudsy shindig. Female reps from 15 New York–area breweries will share tasting tips and pour unlimited samples from established brands such as Kelso and Sixpoint, as well as newbies like Rushing Duck and Grimm Ales. Proceeds go directly to Hollaback!, a nonprofit that fights street harassment, so you can rest assured your drinking habit is helping to combat another, more serious, statistic.
