Time Out says

Take part in workshops with a professional witch, spooky staycation packages, witching hour cocktails and more through the month of October at the James

Things are getting witchy over at The James New York - NoMad—literally.

The hotel at 22 E 29th St has a witch-in-residence, Shawn Engel (owner of Witchy Wisoms and a professional witch), who will be on hand through the month of October to teach guests to assemble their own spell sachets and manifest supernatural intentions. You can even schedule a one-on-one online session on topics like "Hex Your Ex," where you'll learn protection magic and real hexing.

The witchy good fun continues with Witching Hour, an evening lobby takeover on Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31 from 5pm to 7pm where you can kick back with a special (and boozy) witch's brew.

The hotel is also offering a Stay Spooked staycation package (starting at $567 per night), where you can sip on a complimentary bottle of red wine while you explore the mysteries of the Tarot, solve a crime in your own room with the "Death in La-la Land" mystery board game, snuggle up for a spooky movie marathon using the provided projector and snack on some Halloween candy courtesy of Mariebelle Chocolates. Keep the Halloween vibes going by taking home a pumpkin souvenir with the pumpkin decorating kit in your room.
