NYC's cult-favorite pun competition is back with an All Hallows Eve edition: Halloween Punderdome!
Held at Brooklyn's Littlefield on Wednesday, October 25 from 8-10:30 pm, the festivities will include the ninth Annual Halloween PUN-Costume Contest as well as the main event, the All-Star Tournament of Pun Champions, where quick and clever punsters deliver two-minute pun-stand-up routines, after only two minutes of preparation!
Pundercome champions including Lingo Star, Lexi Kahn, Hot Cross Puns, Rhymes & Punishment, Toby Continued, Smashing Punkins and others will put it out for both prizes and bragging rights.
But it's not only the pros who will get to pun it out: the show will kick off with the PUN Battle Royale where bold, brave six individuals who sign up at the door will get a chance to strut their pun-stuff. Winners will be decided via the "Human Clap-O-Meter," a totally legit and not made-up calibration that "accurately and scientifically assesses levels of audience applause."
