Time Out says

Central Park did not have any public art or sculptures featuring women until recently, but women have actually played a big role in Central Park’s development. Head out to the park this month to discover the hidden history of women who influenced Central Park sites.

Have you heard about the Black model who served as a muse for artists during the Gilded Age and was immortalized in Central Park? Or the sculptor who made her big artistic break as a young mother and created an oversize statue of a Latin American hero? What about the queer artist who modelled her iconic Central Park commission after her ill lover? You'll learn about all of these women and more on the Larger than Life: Women of Central Park tour.

The mile-long tour offers three dates this month: Friday, March 8; Sunday, March 10; and  Saturday, March 23.
