Time Out says

CMOM is hosting a series of family-friendly festivities for Kwanzaa, including drum-making, art murals and more.

Join the Children’s Museum of Manhattan as they celebrate the seven principles of Kwanzaa and honor African and African-American culture, with family-friendly festivities running from Tuesday, December 26 through Thursday, December 28.

Bring the youngins aged five and under to explore their creativity and musical prowess during a kuuumba drum-making workshop, stamp Adinkra symbols on the museum’s ever-evolving unity mural wall, and come together as a community to “design creative solutions to real-life challenges and develop ideas to help make our world a better place.” Enjoy songs, dances and storytelling throughout.
