The Lotte New York Palace unveils a spooky twist to their weekly historic tour of the Villard Mansion for Halloween

Want to delve into some haunted history this October? In the spirit of Halloween, Lotte New York Palace is putting a festively spooky twist on their signature weekly guided tour of the Villard Mansion, a historic landmark that is one of New York City’s few surviving Gilded Age mansions, virtually unchanged since its construction in 1884, and the onetime home of doomed railroad magnate Henry Villard. (You know those halls have seen some things.)

Offered on Saturday mornings in October—from October 14 through 28, to be exact, kicking off at 10 am in the hotel's Grand Lobby—the limited-edition tour will be led by the hotel's resident Palace Historian and will delve not only into the legacy of the iconic mansion at Madison Avenue and 50th Street but also the many mysteries of surrounding Midtown Manhattan, including the histories of the theaters in the area and the rumored hauntings of former US vice president and Hamilton favorite, Aaron Burr.

The "Haunted Hallows" tours are complimentary to hotel guests at the Lotte New York Palace; simply visit the concierge stand in the lobby to sign up for the walk-and-talk experience.
