Time Out says

Steve Martin has never written about his career in the movies before—until now. In the new book Number One is Walking: My Life in the Movies and Other Diversions, the iconic actor shares anecdotes from the sets of his beloved films, from Father of the Bride to The Jerk. The book details Martin's 40 years in the movie biz, including charming tales of antics, moments of inspiration and exploits with the likes of Paul McCartney and Diane Keaton, Harrison Ford and Chevy Chase. Plus, he shares about his stand-up comedy, banjo playing, writing and cartooning.

Martin will speak about the book alongside New Yorker cartoonist Harry Bliss (the book's illustrator) at The Town Hall on Tuesday, November 15. Only Murders in the Building costar Nathan Lane (aka Teddy Dimas) will moderate.
