A Mets hat will double as a key to the city on the team's new event called Amazin' Day, celebrated on Saturday, March 25. Fans who wear Mets gear will get free access to several special places and activities.
Here's how it works: Fans wearing Mets gear can enter for free at the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Steel, Webster Hall, Terminal 5, Racket NYC, The Met Museum and Hudson Yards (it's first-come, first-served). They can also enter to win access to ticketed events at places like the Metropolitan Opera and the Gotham Comedy Club. You'll find Mets-themed pop-ups and surprises throughout the city, including free giveaways from Coca-Cola, Dunkin’, and Citi.
The event is intended to kick off the 2023 season, energize fans and celebrate the city.
