Do you believe in ghosts? Pearl doesn't believe in ghosts. That is—until recently when some ghouls started banging on their walls and moving furniture. Pearl decides to put on a live possession on the spookiest of days, Halloween.
The hilarious and hair-raising scheme serves as the subject of Pearl is: Possessed LIVE!, a new immersive solo play premiering at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective on Tuesday, October 31st from 7-8:30 pm.
Written and directed by Pearl Emerson, the production is an "hour-long clownish celebration of Halloween that includes everything from séance to possession to mysterious black goo." The show will take place at Eris Mainstage in East Williamsburg (167 Graham Ave between Montrose Ave and Meserole St), and $15 tickets can be purchased directly at the door or at the Brooklyn Comedy Collective website.
The Brooklyn Comedy Collective is an alt-comedy theater and school with a mission to "produce irreverent, fearless shows from a wide range of voices, pay its artists, and inspire students to approach performance from a place of joy and fierceness."
