In honor of Presidents' Day weekend, learn some fascinating presidential history on a free walking tour with the Flatiron NoMad Partnership. Lace up your walking shoes for this 90-minute tour with author and professional guide Miriam Berman who will tell you all about former presidents' connections ot the neighborhood.

As a sneak peek: You'll hear about how James Buchanan, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant and Grover Cleveland influenced the Flatiron NoMad area. Plus, you'll learn the history of political establishments like the old Fifth Avenue Hotel, the Hoffman House and Stanford White’s Madison Square Garden.

The tour begins at 11am on Sunday, February 19 rain or shine at the tip of the Flatiron Building on 23rd Street just east of 5th Avenue. No advance registration is required. If you miss this weekend's tour, don't worry as the group offers tours weekly.
