Time Out says

Rocky Horror singalongs, Queens ghost lectures and a live reading of haunted tales are just some of Q.E.D.'s Halloween slate

Looking for something fun to do during Halloweekend? Q.E.D.—the woman-owned arts space that Time Out New York readers voted the number one comedy venue in all of NYC last year—has plenty to choose from on its spirited Halloween slate.

On Sunday, October 29, the Astoria venue (27-16 23rd Ave) will play host to a wide variety of festivities, including an illustrated ghost lecture from "Boroughs of the Dead" tour guide Marie Carter at 3pm that dives into Queens' surprising spooky history, from buriEd treasure to tragic film stars.

At 5 pm, you can hear famously creepy classic tales from the likes of Edgar Allen Poe, Ray Bradbury, Neil Gaiman and more read aloud by professional actors and voiceover artists including Eric Kirchberger, Christian Finnegan, Maribeth Mooney, Levi Penley and James Sueling.

And at 7 pm, the fun continues with a screening and singalong of that beloved cult favorite, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Can't remember exactly how to do the "Time Warp"? Never fear: actors from Broadway Bods will lead the singalong and help you through the movies (which are handily right in the lyrics). Costumes are obviously encouraged (better break out those fishnets!) and popcorn, snacks and prizes will pad out the party.
