On the whole, New Yorkers are not generally thought of as people who are overly adept at cooking. Whether it’s because of the tiny apartments or busy work schedules, New York sometimes feels like both the city that never sleeps and the one that never cooks. The city’s myriad, top-notch delivery services are probably partially to blame as well. That means when we do try our hands at whipping up dinner, the results aren’t always pretty.
