If you don’t run screaming through at least one haunted house during the month of October, you’re just not doing Halloween in NYC right. Now in its 10th year, Blood Manor is one of the city’s most popular “haunted” attractions with 5,000 square feet of guts, serial killers, creepy clowns, zombie strippers, and yes, lots and lots of blood. This year the annual attraction is turning up the fear factor even more with a new, disorienting 3-D section and a host of brand-new ghouls to scare the living crap out of you. Time Out New York talked with co-owner Jim Faro about this fall’s production and took the first bloodcurdling walk-through of the season, which runs through November 7.

  • Things to do

Garish zombies, monsters and other ghoulish creatures await in this 5,000-square-foot labyrinth of horrors, deemed too scary for children under 14 to enter without supervision. Pass through themed rooms such as the Vestibule of the Undead and the Banquet of Torture.
