Fat Tuesday comes to Brooklyn at Time Out Market New York this March 1, with a slew of drink specials, festive souvenirs and entertainment at the sprawling Dumbo food hall.
Come by 55 Water Street for $8 hurricanes made with white and dark rum, passion fruit purée, orange and lime juice and a serrano/hoja santa syrup, and served in a bead-wrapped souvenir glass. Big Easy signature cocktails ($14), $20 mystery beer buckets and $35 premium beer buckets will also be available on the market’s 1st and 5th floors all day. You’ll even nab beads with any food or drink purchase, and visitors in New Orleans sports gear can score a TOM card to trade for one hurricane or signature drink.
The Street Beat Brass Band will perform from 5pm to 8pm on the market’s beautiful rooftop.
