Time Out says

If there’s one bar that captures the Gen Z or Swiftie soul accurately, it’s Another Bar which recently sprung up in the Bras Basah neighbourhood. The bar’s name might be a subtle attempt at a self-deprecating joke – it being just ‘another bar’ – but it’s also a cheeky encouragement for guests to indulge in another tipple, or two.

Every corner of the joint is as Instagrammable as it gets. The space is clad in a trendy, striking orange, with neon signages all over like the one that reads “Another Day Another Drama” – a lyric in Taylor Swift’s Look What You Made Me Do. The centrepiece of the bar is its main hall ceiling, which is clustered with glittering disco balls.

Turn your eyes to the drinks menu for a line-up of inventive cocktails tailored for the Gen Z palate, or the Gen Z at heart. Case in point: Solulu To Your Delulu ($24) – a gin-based drink with shiso umeshu, lemon and champagne. And for that one friend who laments about being a slave to capitalism, I Hate My Boss ($24) or Too Pretty To Work ($24) might be just the drinks for them. The former is a boozy bourbon-based concoction infused with yuzu, lemon and foam for a refreshing touch, while the latter features vodka, lychee and lemon.

The cocktail list is also curated with Swifties in mind – The Tortured Poet’s Drink ($24), a tequila-based tipple with lemon and red wine – is the clearest example of that. Lovers can also clink on glasses of the Not So Cruel Summer ($24) which features a sweet strawberry popsicle dunked in champagne. And sharp-eyed folks will spot more subtle Taylor Swift song title references in cocktails like More! ($24) – from I Can Do It With a Broken Heart and No, Really, You Can! ($58) – from I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)

The bar has an extensive list of bar bites, small plates and sharing platters for munching on. Choose from five types of fries ($16 per serving), including chilli beef fried with chilli con carne, sour plum sweet potato fries, dashi seaweed fries, as well as truffle fries and spam fries. You can also share a platter ($50) with friends, with options between a mixed platter with wings, spam fries and seaweed fries, or a skewer platter with a mix of chicken mid wing, thigh, skin and meatball skewers. Still feeling hungry? Order up hearty bar grubs like a bowl of pork chicharon Indomie ($20) topped with delicious pork crackling, chilli padi and a sunny side up egg, or go for the unique okonomiyaki quesadilla ($20) which sees a classic okonomiyaki wrapped with tortilla sheets.
