On January 9, Time Out Singapore readers are invited to the lush gardens of the storied Grande Dame to celebrate the reopening of the Raffles Courtyard. From 6.30pm to 8.30pm, 50 lucky fans and your plus ones can explore the recently restored space while indulging in free-flowing signature tipples and Southeast Asian bites. You also get a chance to be one of the first to try Raffles Hotel Singapore’s exclusive brew: the Beach Road Pale Ale.
Escape the urban jungle and immerse yourself in serene verdant greenery set against the hotel’s rich heritage. Party with us under the night sky as you sip on cocktails like the summery Perry Cobbler, shaken with pear, sloe gin, oloroso sherry and fruits of the season; or cool down with the Mango Weissbar Slushie mixed with mango, Thai basil, Agricole rum, lime, honey, and condensed milk. There’s also a variety of small bites to sample, including kueh pie tee with caramelised pork belly, salted egg-coated squid, and satay straight from the charcoal grill.
Making its debut on the night is the Beach Road Pale Ale, created in collaboration with local brewery Brewlander. The beer features aromatic chinook, citra, and mosaic hops – a tropical treat inspired by the plantations of yesteryear found around Singapore.
