Temper is that new kid on the block who fits right in with the cool crowd without even trying. The two-storey hangout within the stylish Mondrian Singapore Duxton bagged not one but two accolades in the 2026 Star Wine List less than a year after opening – and we’re positive there’s more to come.

The first floor is a groovy lounge where bespoke music experiences set the soundtrack for the night. From Wednesday through Saturday, bop along to live sessions spanning R&B, jazz, and soul, plus DJs spinning EDM and hip-hop. Things quieten down on the other days with vinyl tracks playing in the background. Special high-tech lighting that shifts with each rhythm further adds to the mood.

The upper level is home to Temper’s wine room and its pièce de résistance: an impressive collection of over 1,000 labels. Over 250 are available by the glass, so go forth and sample a variety without committing to a bottle. 

Time Out tip Come for the tunes and tipples, but stay for the made-to-order dishes. With items like crab and caviar royale, and signature Pāua pasta topped with New Zealand blackfoot abalone, the food menu is certainly not an afterthought.
